Visiting a Detained Crew

Audette on Salt Ship
Rev. Audette, The Cruise Ministry Director, also makes ship visits.

This particular ship is crewed by Turks who have been denied shore leave. They want to send mementos of their travels to their families at home, so Chaplain Cushing arranged for a special purchase of souvenir Boston tee-shirts which Rev. Audette and volunteer visitor Charles Kane deliver during their visit.

By helping these men to remind their families at home of their faithfulness, NESM helps them to keep their families strong.

Signing In

Everyone Signs In

When boarding a ship, all visitors must show identification and also sign-in. These are the rules for everyone under Homeland Security regulations. All visitors must also show a visitor identification badge as well as their personal identifcation badge.
