Boston Parking
Weekend parking is simple and safe, but we may no longer park in front of the Mission doors under the overhang during Cruise Ship activity, and this makes for a bit of a problem during the week. The Boston Design Center closes on weekends, so pick up a placard from the Mission Staff and plop it on your dashboard. Park where convenient and where suggested by the friendly State Police officers.
Weekday Cruise Events
We strongly suggest that you park outside of the city and
take either Commuter Rail or the T (subway). You will benefit not only by skipping the most difficult parts of Boston traffic, but you will also benefit from the adventure of it all--particularly with a youth group.
We cannot easily provide parking spots during the week. The parking spots in our complex of buildings are all leased to the Boston Design Center and the businesses inside.
We may be able to locate parking outside of our complex of buildings. If we do find a place outside of the complex, you will be in for a bit of a walk, however. For those volunteers with mobility needs, Mission Staff will be glad to provide valet service. (No tipping necessary!)
Non-Cruise Activity Parking
If the drop-gate is open, just park in front of the Mission like back in the old days. If the drop-gate is closed, park temporarily where convenient and see the Mission Staff for instructions.
